In March, I stopped. Not everything, but the podc In March, I stopped.

Not everything, but the podcast, the emails, the social media. I let it all go quiet. On purpose. Without a crisis.

Nothing was wrong. Life didn't throw me a curveball. I wasn't burnt out or overwhelmed. But after 8 years of weekly content consistency, I decided to take a break and see what clarity would show itself.

I believe clarity can come through taking action but I also know it can show up when you step back and give yourself space. The problem is, most of us only discover that when a crisis forces the pause.

What if you paused intentionally... before the crisis?

Here's what it looked like for me:
→ 10–20 hours of work per week
→ Same revenue
→ Genuinely feeling lighter
→ Clarity on next steps
→ Finished knitting projects (and real pride to show for it)

The smile you see is two months in... after I pushed through the discomfort of slowing down and finally had something to show for it. It wasn't easy. But it was worth it.

Because here's what I found on the other side: nothing broke. The clients are thriving. The business is fine. The only thing that changed was me.

I'm coming back differently, less instead of more, slower and more deliberate.

So I'll leave you with this:
What could you pause for the next 30 days to exercise the muscle of slowing down on purpose?
You don’t need another planner. You don’t need mor You don’t need another planner.
You don’t need more motivation.
And you’re definitely not lazy.

You’re overloaded.

Most of the women I work with are:
• Ambitious
• Capable
• Deeply responsible
• Used to holding everything together

But somewhere along the way, they started breaking promises to themselves.

Not because they lack discipline.
But because no one ever taught them how to design goals around their actual capacity.

That’s the work I do.

I help high-capacity women:
• Get clear on what actually matters
• Build structure that fits their real life
• Strengthen follow-through without burning out
• Rebuild self-trust one week at a time

This is direct but compassionate coaching.
Behavior-focused.
Pattern-aware.
Structured without being rigid.

If you’re ready to stop spinning and start moving with intention,
apply to work with me.

I work with a limited number of private clients at a time.

Application link is in my bio.
When something feels heavy, most of us either: • When something feels heavy, most of us either:
 • Push harder
 • Or quit entirely

But high performers know there’s another move:
✨ The intentional pause.

An intentional pause has two parts:
(1) A conscious decision to stop something.
(2) A clear revisit date.

Without a revisit date, it’s avoidance.
With one, it’s leadership.

You’re not abandoning.
You’re prioritizing.

If something in your life or business feels off, remember:
Sometimes the strongest move isn’t acceleration.
It’s stepping back, on purpose.

More on this in ep. 73 on the podcast.
So much energy is spent just thinking about what n So much energy is spent just thinking about what needs to be done.

Deciding.
Re-deciding.
Second-guessing.

Progress feels lighter when you don’t have to carry all of that alone, when someone helps you clarify priorities, protect your capacity, and stay focused on what actually matters.

This is the heart of the work I do inside my Follow-Through Partnership. I work with my clients each week and within 30 minutes they have a mapped out plan of what to do next.

If you're thinking "that sounds nice", I'd love to hold some of your mental load with you so you don't feel alone in this crazy life of entrepreneurship. Use the link in my bio to find out more and apply for one of the spots available.
It's time to stop beating yourself up for missing It's time to stop beating yourself up for missing something.

Missing a deadline.
Missing a workout.

Beating yourself up for this isn't accountability...it's being a jerk to yourself. It doesn't help you move forward. It makes you want to avoid it again...and again...and again.

The next time you miss something (life happens!) remember to "miss it and move on" because the problem usually isn't when you miss something once. It's when you attach a story to it (ex: I'm lazy, I'm undependable, etc.) and then keep missing things so that the story becomes true.

Missing something once doesn't mean that's who you are. Save this for when you need it 🩷 And there's more in Ep. 73 on the podcast so you'll always have the pep talk you need for this topic.
"Miss it and move on" This phrase changed my lif "Miss it and move on"

This phrase changed my life in so many ways and I owe it all to @meganspearsyoga.dpt 🩷

One day I missed a movement practice and I told her about it. Her response: "it's okay, miss it and move on"

No guilt-inducing lecture.
No asking why.
We just moved on.

🤯 This was the day I realized that was an option.

I didn't need to beat myself up for missing it. I just needed to "miss it and move on". Game-changer! I've now used this mantra/phrase in all areas of my life and it really works. Life will make us miss things and that's okay. The problem isn't when we miss something once...it's when we attach stories to it and it impacts how we view ourselves.

Thank you Megan for being such an incredible friend and changing my life for the better. The ripple effect is real and now it gets to go further 🩷
